Speaking on a condition of anonymity, several sources familiar with the situation suggest Wright earned the team’s confidence with dynamic saves and improved field vision while leading his team to a Fall 2015 Derby victory. Ownership hopes this vote of confidence will encourage Wright to accept a leadership role this spring.
